Friday Night Magic

*Yawns* *Scratches bottom*. Man, I'm tired. This commentator is on the verge of a nervous breakdown but no, he gets no rest! But what about all those weeks where you didn't comment you ask? I wasn't resting mind you! I was busy patching things up with Razia and Serra who were unfortunately irreconcilable. *Starts singing 'How Do I Live Without You'*

Anyways, on to today's exciting matchups! And boy, are you in for a surprise. Our resident beatdown chump has switched from a 'I'm-so-gonna-kick-your-m*****-ass' deck to a *gasp* control deck! Yes, that's right, our impetuous resident beatdown chump Terence the self-proclaimed Great, has deflected, veered, switched over to the darkside, he's using control now!

Ok. Over the initial shock now? Stopped hyperventilating? Of course you have, otherwise you'd be dead and wouldn't be reading this now would you?

Alright, enough nonsense. On to the first match!

Prepare for trouble!
And make it double!
To protect the world from devastation!
To unite all peoples within our nation
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie!
James!
Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light!
Surrender now or prepare to fight!
Me-owth! Dat's right!

Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome James!!!! *Applause*

Terence's first matchup is up against James! James's Land Destruction deck proved ineffectual against Terence's control deck. Terence won the first game using his recently acquired Keiga and Blaze The 2nd game went to James's Sowing Salt which destroyed the homes of poor Urza. Terence won the 3rd game easily by Mimeofacturing 2 Magnivores and turning them on James! (Really team rocket like man, I remember all those pokemon that James owned that attacked him instead of Ash).

Anyways, on to the 2nd match! Terence actually won the match but conceded to Dickson in an attempt to manipulate the game to get them both to the top 4. It obviously backfired. Feel free to slap Terence!

The 3rd match was up against the dreaded Gruul Beats deck. Terence Mimeofactured 2 Kird Apes and used Keiga along with Wildfire to clinch the game! Oh, the irony!!! Terence using a control deck against his former beatdown allies.

Now to the final match! It's Terence against Sensei-Mana-Destructo. Terence pulled off a stunning first round victory but became complacent and lost the remainder 2 rounds to Sensei's Boomerang.

In the end Terence was 1 match shy of entering the top 4. No prizes for those who guessed where that one match went to. Perhaps this will teach him a valuable lesson.

Stay tuned next time for more melodramatic Friday Night Magic Commentaries! (If I'm still alive).
