Friday Night Magic

Yahooooooooooooooooooooooo..... last friday was an eventful day. Stan and i met up with Joseph and Caijing at Bishan to pay a visit to Kenny and to collect some cards. :P After that, we proceeded to CKT to playtest decks. After CKT... Caijing, Stan and I moved on to THE GATHERING ZONE to participate in that night's friday night magic. Among the three of us, Stan and I made it to the top 8. Yup.. STAN AND I MADE IT TO THE TOP 8 together lol.. We are very glad to enter top 8 together.. is our first top 8 together and I believe that there are more to come.. :)

My first match was against an uncle whoes name is Zhen long.. his attitude is average and I dun enjoy playing with him. lol.. I lost the game to him due to mana flood and mistakes made.

The second match was against Lao Shi.. the guy who defeated me in the previous friday night magic.. Yes.. i thrashed him 2-0..with my well drawn keiga and blaze. :D

The third match was against Cai jing.. YES.. my team mate.... I really don't want to play against team mate... but this match was an important and decisive match and it will determind who will enter top 8.. I lost the first round to her as the game was very long and i conceded so as to save time for the other matches.. It was a very pointless round. For the second round, i sideboarded in giant solifuge and i managed to defeat her using giant solifuge and keiga. For the third round, my mimeofracture saved my ass as i copy her keiga( you should noe what happen when 2 same legenadary creatures are on the table) and i used my giant solifuge to whack her to her death. I won after a tough fight with her and the game ended with a firm handshake.

The four match was against an awesome player, jerry chue.. he is a funny guy and i really enjoy playing with him... I lost the game to him.. however, he allowed the game to be draw so that the 2 of us can entered the top 8.. It seems that we are manipulating the game :P but fuck it.. I entered the top 8 with STAN!! lol

Yes.. now lets moved on to the quarter finals.. i faced Chiming and he used Oliver Ruel's deck- Hand in Hand( with some modification) It was a tough fight and i lost the whole game to him with the score 1-2. Yes i lost to a black white deck again..... hmmm.. i was happy with my performance that nite.. and that nite will be the last competition for my Wildfire tron deck.. :) yes.. this deck helps me alot and i really love this deck.. but since dissension will be official in 20th may.. my deck will be very fragile against new cards like hide and seek which can destroy my keiga easily.. is time to change.. to change for a stronger deck. :)
