Saturday Skirmishes

*Drumrolls* Yes people! It's time for another commentary. Ok let's get to it!

Tonight's match-up was a Tournament style match. With the 1st four rounds being swiss rounds (meaning ultimate-loser a.k.a. lowest point gainer in the group, gets kicked out for those of you who have been living under a rock and need to check your tournament vocab). The prize for tonight is 150 buckaroos and there are 26 players fighting for it. Well, that and bragging rights of course.

Now on to the first match!

Ter's first match was up against underaged kid no. 1. Ter easily destroyed him and moved on to the next opponent in 5 mins. Yes people, land jam is a serious bitch no?

The 2nd match pitted Ter against none other than underaged kid no. 1's friend underaged kid no. 2! Again Ter made quick work of the kid who was too slow to beat the fury of the Boros, sending him crying to his mother.

Just when everything seemed fine and dandy the tournament went fresh out of underaged kids. Ter's 3rd opponent is a PRO! (According to Ter). Ter lost the first round to him, but PRO eventually got steam-rolled by Ter's sideboard which had Paladin en-Vec. (Protection from black anyone?)

The last of the group matches pitted Ter against Sebastian! (Said with an italian accent). Anyways, the match didn't happen. They decided to call it a draw and both proceed to the next round.

Finally, the group matches are over and it's time for the all important and exciting knockout rounds! And his opponent is Ivan Oose! (Yah, think power ranger villian, they got the same 'sia-lan' face). Anyways, Ter was dead tired by this time. But he tried his best anyways. In the end, he conceded the first round to Ivan's Yosei and the 2nd round cos he er... became blur and made a mistake.

Oh well, at least he acheived top 8 out of 26 players! And that's a huge achievement for somemone who's only been playing magic for a few months! His prize? 3 booster packs from Ravnica. He may not have won, but he is on his way....

Sighs, trying to make the commentary exciting is bloody tiring. You don't agree? Why don't you try making a match where people just place cards down exciting!
